omg i just watched american idol by chance after eating dinner, and guess what. i cried.
because of a young lady of 19 by the name of sarah burgess (hope i got it right).

her story?
she lied to her father about staying over at a friend's house, when all the while she was at new york, trying to audition for american idol. her parents, especially her father, was really against her in auditioning for american idol and even threatened her with something ( i can't rmb).

anyway, as she was saying this on national tv, she cried, and well, i felt kinda sad for her too. well, that's not the main thing yet. the thing is, when she started to sing, you can actually feel that it's coming from the bottom of her heart. although like simon cowell said, she's not the best in the competition, but she's still good, and that he liked her cuz she tried.

well, yea so she made it to hollywood and then outside, ryan seacrest was like "call ur dad". and so she did. she told him the truth, and explained everything, and that she had made it to hollywood, and i was like, zomg *cry*. really touched me, this girl did.

btw for the record, i have almost never cried while watching anything, the exception being i not stupid.

The year 1 choir members finally came, and wow, I'm quite impressed by the numbers. Huiling kept going on about how nervous she was infront of so many people, so i was like chill it's the same one la =D Anyway, ima welcome 6 new tenors into my section. cool bunch of guys they are. nice grammar, but whatever. right, so out of the 6, i think the tkss guy and the vs guy are imba choristers. the rest are not too shabby either, even though i think they don't have choir background. and somehow, we managed to end up with almost no basses with choir background AGAIN. save for tkss jianrui, who was, unfortunately, absent today. hope their batch is good. we only got 2months or so to convince them to stay with mjc and mjchoir. tall order, it will be.

persuade them, we must. taupok them, we must.
